In the PAC Closet Library for Mozaik you can swap to a different drawer guide in the Settings tab when the library's provided guides (the Optimizer-style line-bored guides or all-Titus drawer boxes) aren't what you want. The key constraint: most 32mm closet sections start just over 14 inches deep, so you need 14-inch drawer guides to fit. Always cut a sample before running a full job after switching guides.
How do I switch to a different drawer guide?
Go to the Settings tab and switch to whatever drawer guide you want to use. The library's default guides use the Optimizer-style line-bored guides and all-Titus drawer boxes; from Settings you can change to a different guide. After switching, the boring pattern updates — you'll see new holes appear for that drawer guide — and you can then pick your drawer box and it will populate.
What should I check before cutting a real job?
Always cut a sample first. If you switch to a guide that drills its own holes (instead of using the 32mm line-bore system), that's fine — but make sure it's something you have tested and proven out before you cut an entire job. Don't just "go for it" on a full run with an untested guide.
Why do most closets need 14-inch drawer guides?
Most 32mm closets — pretty much all of them — start at around 14 inches deep, a little over 14. That depth is why you need 14-inch drawer guides. A shallower section would bring you down to a 12-inch drawer guide, which isn't enough room to fit much in. So match the guide length to the section depth.
What about deeper sections like hutch cabinets?
Hutch cabinets are a little deeper — about 19 inches — so you can get away with an 18-inch drawer guide there. The 14-inch rule is for the shallow standard closet sections; deeper cabinets give you more room for a longer guide.
How do I fit a drawer in a shallow (~14") section?
For a shallow 14-inch drawer, you'd need to use side mounts, or find undermounts rated for the shallower depth. Standard deeper guides won't fit. If you're not sure what will work — or you've found a product you want to use, or there's a new product out — you can send Phill a message and he'll let you know, or help you implement it.
Why not just make the section bigger to fit a larger guide?
You can widen a section — for example change 14 to 16 so a 15-inch drawer guide fits — but then the front line bore sits pretty far forward, and you'll have to custom bore for your hang rods. That's not hard to set up, but it's not the intent of the library. The library is meant to be drag-and-drop and fully customizable on site — so you can lower a closet rod or a fixed shelf as needed. Once you move to custom boring you lose much of that flexibility, so try to stay within ~14 deep and know what will fit inside the section.

FAQ
Why won't a standard drawer guide fit in a 32mm closet from the PAC Closet Library?
Most 32mm closets in the PAC Closet Library start at a little over 14 inches deep, so they call for 14-inch drawer guides. A typical full-extension guide that needs more depth than the section allows simply won't fit, which is why drawer depth has to match the closet depth.
What do I do if I want a 14-inch drawer in a shallow closet section?
For a shallow ~14-inch section, use side-mount guides or find undermount guides rated for the shallower depth, since standard deeper guides won't fit. Phill Anton Consulting can help you pick a product that works if you're unsure.
