To build correctly sized 90-degree corner cabinets in Mozaik, open the corner cabinet in the Product Editor and manually edit each exposed end's dimension on the Shape tab, because corner cabinets don't automatically pick up the reduced depth you set in the Room tab. Once both ends match your run, save the corrected cabinet back to your library so you can drop it in pre-sized from now on. This works for both base and wall corner cabinets.
This guide follows Mozaik's official walkthrough. Watch the original on Mozaik's channel:
Why corner cabinets ignore your Room tab depth
When you bring a normal cabinet into a job, it honors the depth you've set. For example, if you change the cabinet depth in the Room tab to 23-1/2 in, every regular cabinet you place after that comes in at 23-1/2 in. Delete and re-place a standard cabinet and you'll see it lands at the new depth.
A 90-degree corner cabinet behaves differently. When you place one against a wall and butt a regular cabinet up to it, you'll notice a mismatch: the corner cabinet's ends stay at the default 24 in instead of adjusting to your Room tab setting. The corner cabinet does not auto-compensate, so you have to set its end depths by hand.
Step 1 — Open the corner cabinet in the Product Editor
Room tab > select the 90-degree corner cabinet > double-click > Product Editor
Select the corner cabinet, double-click it to open the Product Editor, and choose View Product. It can help to slide the editor over to one side so you can see the full cabinet while you work.
Step 2 — Measure the end to confirm it's oversized
Use the measuring tool and click the end (side) of the cabinet you want to check. On a default 90-degree corner cabinet, you'll see that end reads 24 in — the depth that needs correcting to match the rest of your run.
Step 3 — Edit each end on the Shape tab
Shape tab > select the side > double-click the dimension > type the new value
Go to the Shape tab, select the side you want to change, and you'll see its dimension value (24). Double-click that number and type the depth you want. In the video, both ends are changed to 23-1/2 in:
- Edit the first side from 24 to 23-1/2 in.
- Edit the second side from 24 to 23-1/2 in.
Repeat for each exposed end so both sides match your run. Re-measure with the measuring tool afterward to confirm each side now reads the value you entered.
Step 4 — Save the corrected cabinet to your library
Once both ends are corrected, save it as a new product so you never have to redo this edit:
Save > add a new product > name it (e.g., "90 corner 23.5 sides")
This adds your corrected base corner cabinet to the library. Next time, you can pull it straight in and it arrives already sized to those end depths — no manual editing required.
Step 5 — Move the new cabinet into the right library group
By default, a product you add lands at the very bottom of the library list. To file it where it belongs:
Libraries > Products > open your catalog > scroll to the new product
- Open the catalog you're working in and scroll to the bottom to find your new cabinet.
- Highlight it, right-click, and Cut it.
- Scroll up to the heading you want it under (for example, your corner cabinets group).
- Right-click that heading and Paste.
Now the cabinet lives in your corner cabinets section, and the next time you go to your base corner cabinets you can select your corrected 23-1/2 in version directly.
Does this apply to wall cabinets too?
Yes. The same process — measure the end, edit it on the Shape tab, and save it back to the library — applies to both base and wall 90-degree corner cabinets.

FAQ
Why do my corner cabinets stay at 24 in when I changed my Room tab depth?
A 90-degree corner cabinet's ends don't automatically adjust to the depth you set in the Room tab. You have to open the cabinet in the Product Editor and edit each end's dimension on the Shape tab by hand.
Do I have to re-edit the corner cabinet every time I use it?
No. Once you've corrected both ends, save it as a new product in your library (for example, "90 corner 23.5 sides"). After that, you can pull it in pre-sized whenever you need it.
How do I get my new corner cabinet out of the bottom of the library list?
In Libraries > Products, open your catalog and scroll to the new product at the bottom. Right-click and Cut it, then scroll up to the heading you want, right-click, and Paste. It will then appear under your corner cabinets group.
