To switch the PAC Closet Library from line bore to custom boring in Mozaik, swap the standard Titus fastener for the Titus custom-bore fastener, set the top boring parameters to shotgun bore, and position your fixed shelves and closet rods (holes are drilled where parts sit). Keep Variable Toe on. PAC recommends staying on line bore unless you must switch.
Should you do this?
Generally no. The library is built around line bore for full adjustability. Do custom bore only when you have to. See line bore vs custom bore.
Step 1: swap in the custom-bore fastener
In Job Parms then Fasteners, replace the standard Titus fastener with the Titus custom-bore fastener (top of the list). This makes the outriggers drill their own holes instead of relying on line-bore holes being in place.
Step 2: set boring to shotgun bore
In boring, set the top three parameters to shotgun bore (for example 5 holes per shelf for the adjustable shelf). Without the custom-bore fastener, outriggers will not make their own holes.
Step 3: position fixed shelves and closet rods
Holes are drilled where parts sit, so set positions in the Interior tab. Keep the closet rod 2-1/8 inch spacing or holes drill at the wrong height. Tip: if a closet rod will not snap back to 2-1/8 inch, delete it and add a new one.
Step 4: closet-rod and shoe-shelf boring
- For closet-rod holes: Settings then Miscellaneous then Closet Rods then the PAC custom-boring closet rod.
- Angled shoe shelves need their holes: edit the part, then product parameters then boring, and set the top back to shotgun bore for that section. Then turn off unwanted shelf pins and holes in the Interior opening.
Step 5: keep Variable Toe on
Make sure the Variable Toe fastener group is on so toe recess and toe boring still work, and drawers still bore their own guide holes.

Get it done-for-you
This is a lot of manual setup. The PAC Mozaik Closet Library handles both line bore and custom bore out of the box (including the custom-bore fastener and closet-rod), so you do not have to wire it up.

FAQ
Should I use custom boring with the PAC Closet Library?
Not usually. The library is built around line bore for full adjustability. Use custom bore only if you must (no drill block, picky customer, high-end).
What is the key switch to enable custom boring?
Swap the Titus fastener for the Titus custom-bore fastener (Job Parms then Fasteners, top one), and set the top boring parameters to shotgun bore.
Why does shelf and rod positioning suddenly matter?
With custom bore, holes are drilled exactly where each fixed shelf and closet rod sits, so you must set their positions in the Interior tab and keep closet-rod spacing at 2-1/8 inch.
