The PAC Mozaik Closet Library uses a true line-bore 32 mm system: fixed shelves, rods, toekicks, and accessories all sit in a pre-drilled hole pattern, so install is forgiving and everything stays adjustable. Modular sizing snaps depths and heights to modular values, and the first line-bore hole sits 68 mm from the front edge.
What is the 32 mm and modular system?
A true line-bore system: fixed shelves, closet rods, toekicks, tops, bottoms, and accessories all sit in a pre-drilled hole pattern (not shotgun bore). Benefits:
- Forgiving install: a shelf can be slightly off-height and still drop into the holes.
- Fully adjustable: change your mind later and just move parts, with no leftover custom-bore holes.
Why do my sizes round to odd numbers?
Modular sizing snaps depths and heights to modular values. Type 16 inch depth and you get 15.9843 inch; type 96 inch height and you get about 95 and change. This keeps you inside the library boundaries.
The 32 mm details worth knowing
- The first line-bore hole is 68 mm from the front edge (changeable to 37 mm). 68 mm helps because doors and drawer guides and plates are shotgun-bored.
- Modular widths can be turned on (for example 1 inch, 2 inch, 6 inch steps) but are off by default.
- Manufacturing check: glance that the outriggers line up with the line-bore top and bottom.
- Machine-time trade-off: without a drill block, full line bore runs about 6 to 7 minutes per panel (about 20 minutes per sheet), still fine for closets.

FAQ
What is the 32mm system in the PAC Closet Library?
A true line-bore system: shelves, rods, toekicks and accessories all sit in a pre-drilled hole pattern, so install is forgiving and everything stays adjustable.
Why do my sizes snap to odd numbers (e.g. 16 inch becomes 15.98 inch)?
Modular sizing rounds depths and heights to the nearest modular value, keeping you within the library boundaries.
How far from the front edge is the first line-bore hole?
68mm. You can change it to 37mm, but 68mm helps because doors, drawer guides and plates are shotgun-bored, which keeps install cleaner.
